Who am I?

Ah. Great question. Glad you asked. I’m a freelance writer, usually writing in the general vicinity of science, but not always. I’m particularly interested in the mind, behavior, technology, and culture,  but I’ve got a little bit of a soft spot for zoology, too. I’ve worked in the past as a web editor at Boston magazine where I wandered up from editorial intern to web editor, moonlighting from time to time as a writer. I’ve since flipped that ratio and am working now as a full-time writer, occasional web and copy editor.

I’ve also spent some time at the Zoo, which is not a metaphor for anything, but give me a minute and I can make it work as one.

I live in Boston and in my spare time, I enjoy science fiction and ballroom dancing. You can contact me over here.
